Preserving your life and family stories is a fun process if you let go of what you think a memoir or biography is supposed to be and write a glimpse.

What’s a glimpse?

A glimpse is a collection of your stories published into a hardbound book that gives readers a glimpse into the life and times of you or your family. The stories can focus on one time frame such as childhood, time spent abroad, military days, waiting for baby, etc. Or it can capture an entire life thus far. You don't have to be a certain age or have a certain kind of story to write a glimpse. Every stage of life is important and deserves to be captured for you and future generations to enjoy.

How it works...

I will take you through the process and complete the writing, editing, formatting, and publishing. Your job is to tell me the stories, choose the photos or other items you would like to include, and pick a favorite color for the cover. If you have already started writing your stories, well done! We can easily incorporate them into your glimpse. Otherwise, I will draw out the memories and help you through the story telling process.

Make it your own.

Since this is your glimpse, you are free to be as creative as you want. You may want to include a family recipe, letter, drawing, journal entry, ultrasound, or meaningful family document such as an Ellis Island certificate. If we can scan it or type it, we can put it in your book.

Before you know it, we'll be finished, and you’ll have your very own written legacy.
